Ruth Waters leads the charge as Director of Sales for the Harrison Group for over thirty years.

Flexing and bending through changes in the business environment, technology and company growth, her steadfast leadership has proven effective in driving sales. Ruth's special skill set and creativity in the tour and travel market segment has made her tour packages legendary. With locations In Ocean City, Virginia Beach and the Outer Banks of North Carolina she can take you on an excursion with behind the velvet rope experiences.

Known for her community activism, Ruth enjoys being a catalyst to cultivating new events in Ocean City; the OC Air Show, Harbor Day at the Docks and the OC Film Festival are among her collaborations.

Ruth's accolades include Maryland Tourism Person of the Year, Worcester County Tourism Person of the Year, Women Leaders award winner and Queen of the Parrot Head Mardi Gras. Ruth is serving her fifteenth year as a Board of Director of the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce of which she was president, is President of the Ocean City Chamber of Commerce Foundation Board, she serves on the Board of the Art League of Ocean City and previously served on the Red Cross of the Eastern Shore, Pennsylvania Bus Association, Maryland Tourism Coalition and numerous committees for the American Bus Association and National Tour Association.

In practicing what she preaches you can find Ruth in her off time on a group tour to any corner of the globe. Her passion for exploring is contagious and she would truly enjoy sharing her favorite locale along the coast of the Mid-Atlantic with you.

Sara Simon is a Senior Sales and Events Manager who has been with the Harrison Group since 2007.

She is a recipient of the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Award, holder of a Key to the City, and New Tourism Person of the Year for the Maryland Tourism Coalition. Sara is deeply rooted in the local business community and Tourism at a state level.

Sara loves to empower organizations and thought leaders to differentiate themselves and drive measurable results through game-changing meetings. As a local to the area she is committed to bringing Ocean City fun in her event planning and does so through out of the box options, and creating a personalized, real experience for attendees.

She is a wife and mom who enjoys spending quality time with her family and golden retriever on the beach, kayaking or hiking. She also loves gardening, and when not outside Sara loves experimenting in the kitchen.

Sarah Siats is a Group Sales Manager who started her career in hospitality at the Harrison Group in December of 2006.

Sarah Siats is a Group Sales Manager who started her career in hospitality at the Harrison Group in December of 2006. She specializes in both the Sports and the Tour and Travel markets. Sarah understands when your team travels you want a hotel that best fits your needs. Whether it is proximity to where you are competing or specific amenities like an efficiency room with kitchen or indoor pool, Sarah ensures that the process is made as easy as possible, all while keeping your pocketbook style in mind. Sarah also works directly with tour operators to elevate their vision and ensure their motor coach groups have a unique and memorable experience on their tour. Sarah wants you to think of her and the Harrison Group as another part of your team.

Sarah holds a bachelor's degree in Human Ecology from SUNY Oneonta and an associate's degree in Advertising Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology. One day she will revisit her artistic prowess, but for now her spare time is spent running after her very active and adorable son, Declan.

Always drawn to the beach and never missing a summer vacation to Ocean City, this native New Yorker made a dream come true working in her favorite beach town. Sarah always says “What better place to sell than one that you love."

Lara Meadows is a Sales Assistant and Group Coordinator with over 20 years experience in the hospitality industry.

With her experience both in operations, customer service, and reservations, she is able to assist in every detail of your planning. Lara has worked on site at six of our properties in operations, in our golf office as coordinator and office assistant, and has now spent the last year with the group sales department where she continues to be a wonderful asset to the Harrison Group.

Born and raised on the eastern shore, Lara loves to introduce a bit of "local flair" to your event. When she is not in the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband Mike, son Liam, and friends boating, cooking, and lazing on the beach.

Susan Ettz, Tour Coordinator for the Harrison Group, brings over 30 years of hospitality experience in accommodating groups.

An accredited Certified Travel Industry Specialist, Sue's forte is planning.

Well-organized, daily touring itineraries that introduce passengers to the treasures of our area from start to finish! She takes the worry out of "what to do and where to eat" and places your group in the capable hands of a complimentary, local step-on guide who provides care and factual information during the tour.

Her priorities are "the passengers" having them embark on a smooth, enjoyable experience while sharing Ocean City and our surrounding areas in a fun, educational and relaxing environment. She takes pleasure in discovering and researching interesting places on the Eastern Shore, Virginia Beach, Va. and The Outer Banks of North Carolina!

She enjoys life out of the office by traveling, reading, bike riding and making fun memories with her fiance, Brian and their 2 beagles. Brian often accompanies her when it comes to checking out the latest attractions and restaurants, a job he has come to love, like it or not!

Bobbie Stanley brings a tremendous wealth of experience to the Harrison Group Resort Hotels & Restaurants team.

She began her career over 25 years ago mastering the art of Catering and Conference Services as a Director for Four and Five Star Hotels in the Southeast Region of Virginia. Her first role as the Director of Sales was over a beautiful hotel that over looked the Atlantic Ocean on the famous Crystal Coast of North Carolina. There, she led the team to record setting numbers. She was then sought out by the largest hotel group in Myrtle Beach, NC and brought in as their Senior Director of Sales overseeing the selling of the 10 most exquisite hotels of the illustrious Grand Strand, again leading the team to record breaking numbers. After a few years, she was recruited by a Taskforce Company and was sent to various High End hotels around the United States that were failing to resurrect them to optimal levels. These Four Star hotels were in the distinguished cities of Atlanta, GA, Tallahassee, FL, Sarasota, FL, Columbus, OH, New Orleans, LA, and New York City. She attributes her success developing her team to be the best versions of themselves. In 2020, Bobbie returned to her roots in Southeast VA, to settle down and reconnect with her family, especially, her beautiful grandson.

Renee Seiden is a Sales Manager with the Harrison Group.

Renee Seiden started her hotel career while still in college at the University of Maryland and has never looked back. She now has over 35 years in the industry working in urban, suburban, and resort locations, but the vast majority of her career has been spent in Ocean City, Maryland. With her experience in food & beverage, catering, convention services, and sales, Renee offers an expansive library of knowledge to assist every group to create their best possible event.

When not working, Renee enjoys spending time with her family, especially her first grandchild, and going to the beach. She is also an avid sports fan, and especially enjoys cheering on the Terps and the Baltimore Ravens.

Jamie Spicer is a Sales Manager with the Harrison Group.

Jamie Spicer is a buoyant and enthusiastic sales professional with over 25 years of experience as a sales manager in the hospitality industry. She is skilled at developing a precise action plan for each of her client's unique needs and providing practical solutions. Throughout her career, Jamie has shown tenacity with her clients and has earned the trust of several diverse companies both nationally and internationally.

As an Eastern Shore native, she enjoys the beach and any free time she can spend with family, friends, husband Evan and her two dearly loved miniature schnauzers Eddie and Stevie. In no particular order!

Debbie has been a resident of the Ocean City area for over 36 years.

While a student at Washington College she became manager for their catering company and fell in love with the food and beverage industry. After graduation she remained on the shore and started her first real job in the restaurant industry. Loving the excitement and the urgency that food and beverage offers, she made it a career. Her love for the Eastern shore makes her a dynamic addition to our sales team .She has worked in the hospitality and restaurant industry in many of our local businesses. She also grew her 2 small businesses while raising 3 kids. Her hard work ethic and tenacity to detail makes her ideal for organizing and booking your next event.

In her down time, Debbie can be found spending time with her 3 grown kids: Cecily, Will and Chloe. She has 2 dogs and often fosters senior dogs from the local shelter. She loves sunbathing on the beach, hanging out on the water with friends and is a die hard Baltimore Orioles and Ravens fan.
